FDJ-SUEZ is pleased to announce the arrival of Léa Curinier, a talented 22-year-old French cyclist.
Originally from Valence in the Drôme and having grown up in Saint-Péray in the Ardèche, Léa began her professional career with Team Arkéa, before joining Team Dsm-Firmenich. She is particularly known for her performance in time trials and on mountainous terrain.
We are delighted to announce that Léa has joined our team. With proven experience, she has shown her unwavering support for her leaders, whether on the flat or in the mountains. At home, we aspire to guide Léa in the next stage of her career. Our distinct style – attacking and provoking – will certainly be strengthened by his skills and his desire to go higher.
Stephen Delcourt – General manager
This year, Curinier notably took second place at the Dwars door in Westhoek, placed 6th in the Baloise Ladies Tour, 8th in the French Time Trial Championship, and 13th in the online event. Recently 14th in the first Women’s Tour de l’Avenir, she also finished 15th in the U21 category at the World Championship in Glasgow, where she was called on short notice to replace Marie Le Net, who was ill. In addition, Léa Curinier took 22nd place at the top of the Col du Tourmalet during the last Tour de France.
I am very happy to join FDJ-SUEZ, it is a great opportunity and a new challenge. I look forward to being able to express myself within this team and to give the best of myself for the next 2 years.
