Just a few days before the launch of the 2025 Tour de France for Women with Zwift, FDJ-SUEZ and its equipment partner Gobik have unveiled a preview of the technical jersey, dubbed the ‘Burning Core’.
This new tunic, inspired by the team’s DNA and founding values, will be worn for the first time on the Tour de France Femmes with Zwift 2025. The Gobik outfit will then be worn by the FDJ-SUEZ team for the entire 2026 season.
From the work of the shadows emerges the light of victory
The deep black of the jersey evokes the countless, invisible hours of cycling – waking up at dawn, training in the rain and dusk, the fears and doubts of the “day without” – while the centre of the jersey features a halo of bright lights, positioned around the heart and made up of the team’s blue and red colours.
Wrapped in this intense black, the coloured heart of the jersey, spreading like embers symbolising hope and the uncompromising pursuit of success, carries a message dear to the team: all light is born from a shadow, all success is built on the foundations of accepted setbacks and hard work.
“The team’s values have an essential influence on our daily lives as athletes, in the hardest moments as well as the most beautiful. They remind us why we have chosen this way of life, this vision of life. It’s an outfit that embodies our state of mind: behind-the-scenes efforts contribute to our success and our influence”. Demi Vollering
“For 2026, we have adopted a sleek, sophisticated design, using black as a base to elegantly highlight the team’s traditional colours: blue, red and white. The garment is made from a high-performance technical fabric that is exceptionally breathable and capable of wicking away heat efficiently, even on the most demanding days. Its ergonomic pattern, heat-bonded finish and precise fit reflect our ongoing commitment to innovation for performance. This design will be carried through to all the garments worn by the riders, with patterns specially developed for them by our product development team – thought out in minute detail to offer a truly personalised fit.” David Martinez – Gobik Head of Communication
Changing the jersey reveal standard
The ‘Burning core’ jersey is available from today, 24 July 2025, on the Gobik.com website and the FDJ-SUEZ Store. For this first time, it will be sold in very limited quantities, then available again in December 2025, at the start of the next season.
