DEMI VOLLERING CONTINUES WITH FDJ UNITED-SUEZ

Jaunay-Marigny (France), le 29 mai 2026 – FDJ UNITED-SUEZ et Demi Vollering sont ravis d’annoncer la prolongation de leur partenariat, avec une extension de contrat sur plusieurs années, signée au printemps.

This contract renewal is a powerful moment for FDJ UNITED-SUEZ team. It symbolises mutual trust, a unique human and sporting adventure, and a shared ambition to continue building a team that wishes to serve as an inspiration for our sport.

Demi Vollering joined FDJ UNITED-SUEZ in October 2024, bringing her exceptional experience and skills to the French squad based in Jaunay-Marigny (Vienne, Nouvelle-Aquitaine). Under her leadership, FDJ UNITED-SUEZ finished at the top of the 2025 UCI Women’s World Team ranking, topping both the team and individual standings, with a total of 23 victories over the season. Since her arrival in France, alongside her teammates and staff members, Demi has helped lay the foundations that make FDJ UNITED-SUEZ a team capable of performing on all terrains and playing a part in the positive growth and development of women’s cycling.

The extension of Demi’s contract reflects the team’s determination to build a sustainable, solidly established structure fueled by international ambitions, while remaining deeply proud of its local French roots. Her natural ability to assume leadership under all circumstances, foster innovation, and play a key role in her teammates’ performance makes Demi a world-class athlete and a role model.

“Demi is an extraordinary athlete at the peak of her game. But what moves us and makes us proud goes far beyond her victories. Demi is a woman who is changing our sport. Through her high standards, her sensitivity, her authenticity, and her way of bringing others along with her, she redefines what a modern leader is. She inspires her teammates, she inspires the fans, she inspires a generation of young girls and boys who see themselves in her way of being and living her sport, as much as in her performances. She doesn’t just win races: she shows the way.” Stephen Delcourt, General Manager of FDJ UNITED-SUEZ

“Over the last year and a half I have been part of an environment where everybody can truly grow — not just as an athlete, but also as a person — and I am very proud of that. This environment has become home. I was more than motivated to keep writing the next chapters of our story together. With FDJ UNITED–SUEZ, an international project rooted in its beautiful French identity, all the incredible people around me, and the fans who have believed in me from day one — I am driven to keep building something far bigger than just victories. We want to inspire a whole generation of girls and boys, and move our sport forward as a whole. Stephen and the entire team have built a very strong foundation for that — one I genuinely believe in, not just for results, but for what we’re trying to create for this sport.
I think about the young girls watching races today who might become the champions of tomorrow. That responsibility matters to me. I want to show them that you can compete at the highest level and still lead with your values.
For me, everything starts with a dream. And right now, that dream feels bigger than ever — on the bike, and beyond it. I can’t wait for what still lies ahead, and to keep building, together.”
– Demi Vollering

During her first season with the team in 2025, Demi Vollering won the general classification of La Vuelta Femenina, giving the team the very first Grand Tour in its history, as well as four other major stage races: Itzulia Women, the Tour de Suisse, the Volta Ciclista a Catalunya, and the Setmana Ciclista Volta Femenina de la Comunitat Valenciana, not to mention a victory at Strade Bianche Donne.

In 2026, Demi confirmed her status among the greatest riders of her era with successes at Ronde van Vlaaderen, Liège-Bastogne-Liège, Flèche Wallonne, and Omloop Het Nieuwsblad. Beyond her individual results, her daily commitment and leadership have also allowed the team to rise collectively, contributing notably to victories at Paris-Roubaix and Strade Bianche Donne, in what constitutes probably one of the greatest first half of a season in the history of women’s cycling.

This contract renewal brings immense emotion and pride to the team. It is the result of the trust and support of all FDJ UNITED-SUEZ partners, who share an ambitious, modern, and human vision of our sport.

Let’s keep dreaming.
