Team: FDJ-SUEZ — Professional Women’s Cycling Team
Contract: CDD / CDI / self-employed
Location: Mobile role with travel to races and training camps

Role Purpose

As Team Physiotherapist, you will play a key role in supporting rider readiness, recovery, and injury prevention across the season. You will combine physiotherapy duties with selected assistant responsibilities, working closely with soigneurs, coaches, and medical staff to optimize daily operations at races and training camps.

Key Responsibilities

  • Race & Camp Support: attend 30–60 days of races and training camps, providing physiotherapy care and general assistance (bottle/nutrition prep, massages, logistics).
  • Physiotherapy Interventions: deliver recovery treatments, manual therapy, and follow-up after crashes or minor injuries to maximize rider availability.
  • Activation Sessions: organize pre-training and pre-race activation routines when appropriate.
  • Treatment Skills: provide taping, dry needling, tecar-therapy, and other physiotherapy techniques aligned with rider needs.
  • Collaboration: work alongside team doctors, osteopaths, and assistants to ensure integrated athlete care.
  • Flexibility: support the staff with general operational duties beyond core physiotherapy responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy (mandatory); specialization in manual therapy is a strong plus.
  • Experience: ideally 3+ years working as a physiotherapist with professional cycling teams, or in practice with cycling/endurance athletes.
  • Languages: bilingual English & French.
  • Technical Expertise: proven experience in taping, dry needling, tecar-therapy, and modern physiotherapy protocols.
