For the team, this edition will be remembered for Demi VOLLERING&#8217;s second place in the GC, Elise CHABBEY&#8217;s best climber&#8217;s jersey and the overall best team classification. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Stage 9 : Praz-sur-Arly \u2192 Ch\u00e2tel (124km)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The final stage offered a challenging route with nearly 2,800 metres of elevation gain and three major passes: Ar\u00e2ches-la-Frasse (6.2 km at 7.1%), the formidable Col de Joux-Plane (11.6 km at 8.5%) and the Col du Corbier (5.9 km at 8.5%), before the uphill finish in Ch\u00e2tel \u2013 Pr\u00e9-la-Joux (2.2 km at 5.6%) .<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After an initial breakaway led by Anna van der Breggen (SD Worx-Protime), the peloton of favourites took control again in Joux-Plane. Incidents marked this section: C\u00e9drine Kerbaol crashed, and Sarah Gigante, who had been second in the general classification, lost time on the descent. At the summit of Le Corbier, the group of leaders remained compact, with Demi Vollering, Pauline Ferrand-Pr\u00e9vot, Katarzyna Niewiadoma-Phinney, Juliette Labous and Niamh Fisher-Black.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The decisive attack came on the final climb to Ch\u00e2tel. With 6.7 km to go, Pauline Ferrand-Pr\u00e9vot (Visma | Lease a Bike) accelerated and flew solo to stage victory.
