A hilly stage, marked by a fast-paced race that ended with a solo victory for the Spaniard <strong>Mavi Garcia<\/strong> (Movistar). <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From the very first kilometres, the peloton was shaken by attacks. <strong>Aude Biannic<\/strong> and <strong>Franziska Koch<\/strong> (Pic Nic Post NL) were the first to break away, forming a breakaway that was caught 61 km from the finish. An attacking trio then led the race until 12 km from the finish line, before being caught : <strong>Elise Chabbey<\/strong>, <strong>Silke Smulders<\/strong> (Liv AlUla Jayco) and <strong>Maud Rijnbeek (team volkerwessels)<\/strong>, relayed for a time by <strong>Riejanne Markus (visma lease a bike)<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fdj-suez.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/race-10-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-9567\" style=\"width:531px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.fdj-suez.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/race-10-980x653.jpg 980w, https:\/\/www.fdj-suez.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/race-10-480x320.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"(min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) and (max-width: 980px) 980px, (min-width: 981px) 1024px, 100vw\" \/><\/figure>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">9 km from the finish line, it&#8217;s <strong>Mavi Garcia<\/strong>, the oldest rider in the peloton, who surprised everyone with a sharp attack. Setting off alone, she managed to hold off the peloton in the final few hundred metres, winning with <strong>three seconds ahead<\/strong>.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Behind, <strong>Lorena Wiebes<\/strong> (team SD Worx protime) leads the peloton sprint for 2nd place, ahead of <strong>Kim Le Court (<\/strong><strong>AG Insurance-Soudal Team)<\/strong>, third of the day and <strong>nouvelle leader du classement g\u00e9n\u00e9ral<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Demi Vollering<\/strong> finished among the favourites, retaining her 5th place overall and <strong>Elise Chabbey conserve son maillot \u00e0 pois best climber. Our French women<\/strong> <strong>Evita and Juliette are 27\u2018 and 48\u2019 respectively<\/strong> the yellow jersey in the overall classification at the end of this second stage in Finist\u00e8re. A flatter terrain could favour a more classic scenario this time, with breakaway attempts and a possible bunch sprint finish.
