Over a demanding course of 140.7 kilometres, the athletes twice tackled the dreaded slopes of the Mur de Huy (1.3 km at an average gradient of 9.6%), once again the scene of an intense and decisive finale. <\/em><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a highly anticipated finale, <strong>Demi<\/strong> played out a tight mano a mano against Puck Pieterse. Perfectly led by <strong>Juliette<\/strong>, A valuable road captain, the Dutch rider took the lead from the very first slopes. The last relay, given by Juliette just before the steepest gradients, seemed perfect to put her leader in orbit. But it took an explosive Puck Pieterse (Fenix-Deceuninck) in the final 200 metres to deny our Dutchwoman victory. Always well placed, the Frenchwoman was one of the main players in the peloton at key moments. In particular, it was she who set the pace on the final climb, stretching out a group of around twenty riders before dropping back in favour of her leader. <strong>Juliette finishes 7\u1d49<\/strong> and first French rider at the finish, a new place of honour after her 4\u1d49 position in the Amstel Gold Race, and Elisa Longo Borghini (Lidl-Trek) completes the podium with a third place.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fdj-suez.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/20250423-182600-Tornanti_cc-Fleche-Wallonne-7821E-min-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"La Fl&#xE8;che Wallonne Femmes 2025 - Demi Vollering 2&#xE8;me\" class=\"wp-image-9063\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.fdj-suez.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/20250423-182600-Tornanti_cc-Fleche-Wallonne-7821E-min-980x653.jpg 980w, https:\/\/www.fdj-suez.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/20250423-182600-Tornanti_cc-Fleche-Wallonne-7821E-min-480x320.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"(min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) and (max-width: 980px) 980px, (min-width: 981px) 1024px, 100vw\" \/><\/figure>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u00c9vita<\/strong> rounded off the team&#8217;s very good overall result by taking a solid <strong>11\u1d49 position<\/strong>.
