The 17-year-old from P\u00e9rigord arrives with a track record that already commands respect and an ambition to match her talent. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Born on 4 November 2008 in P\u00e9rigueux, Tha\u00efs trained at the Cyclo Club P\u00e9rigueux Dordogne alongside her father and joined Marmande Women D\u00e9veloppement in 2025.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The summer of 2025 saw her crowned double French junior champion: first in the time trial, 27 seconds ahead of her nearest rival, and then in the road race, following a decisive attack on the final climb. This historic double victory earned her a place in the French U19 team for the World Championships in Kigali, where she finished sixth in the road race. <\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tha\u00efs Poirier is undoubtedly one of the most promising talents in French women\u2019s cycling. At just 17 years old, this young Frenchwoman has already made her mark on the international stage thanks to her performances, her racing intelligence and her remarkable ability to read race situations.<br\/>What particularly impressed us, beyond her sporting ability, was her maturity. Despite her young age, Tha\u00efs already has a very clear vision of her sporting career and her development. When she joined our training camp this winter, we were impressed by her professionalism, her curiosity and her ability to fit in naturally within a group comprising some of the world\u2019s best cyclists.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Her arrival also holds special significance for our team. Tha\u00efs is from Nouvelle-Aquitaine, our historic home region. Seeing a young athlete from the region choose FDJ United-SUEZ to continue her development is a source of great pride and reaffirms our commitment to nurturing the talents of tomorrow.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are convinced that Tha\u00efs has everything it takes to succeed at the very highest level.
