With two stage wins and total control of the race, the FDJ UNITED-Suez leader took the overall classification on Sunday in Valencia, confirming her status right from the start with the team. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Right from the first stage on Thursday, Demi Vollering set the tone by winning solo. Perfectly supported by her teammates, she finished the first stage with a 52-second lead over her rivals, immediately taking the leader&#8217;s jersey. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The following day, during a second stage designed for sprinters, the team remained vigilant. Despite a fall in the final kilometre, Amber Kraak put in a strong sprint to take 5th place, allowing Vollering to maintain her lead in the overall standings. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On Saturday, the third stage was cancelled by the organisers due to strong winds making the race too dangerous.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It was this Sunday, during the final stage, that Demi sealed her success:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After launching a sharp attack on the final climb to break away with four other riders, she sprinted to victory to claim her second stage win, finishing fifteen seconds ahead of a peloton led by Elisa Balsamo. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Demi wins the overall classification as well as the points classification.
