At the end of 137 kilometres, the European champion from FDJ-SUEZ took second place, beaten in the sprint by Italian champion Elisa Longo Borghini (UAE Team ADQ). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The day was marked by a steady pace over the six laps of the circuit, before the final climb up the Salita dei Ronchi (1.9 km at 5.3%). Very active on the climbs, Demi made several accelerations in the final kilometres in an attempt to distance herself from her rival.
