The team ended its Middle East tour on a high note. After a tense week and a final showdown at the summit, Juliette confirmed her place among the world’s best climbers by securing a spot in the top 10 of the overall rankings.
The early stages showcased the team’s sprinting prowess. Perfectly set up by her teammates’ collective effort, Vittoria Guazzini proved she was in great form:
She achieved an impressive fourth place in a bunch sprint and confirmed her form with another top-five finish two days later.
Throughout the flat stages, Franziska Koch, sporting her German champion’s jersey, held her own. Thanks to impeccable positioning, she remained firmly in the top 10 of the general classification (5th) until the day before the finish, protecting her chances and those of the team before the mountains.
The outcome of this UAE Tour was decided, as expected, on the formidable slopes of Jebel Hafeet.
Our leader Juliette gave it her all in the final climb to secure 10th place in the stage, closely followed by Eva, who put in a superb performance to finish in 12th place.
