Tour of Scandinavia: three stage wins and two Top 5 overall

The FDJ-SUEZ finished the Tour of Scandinavia with notable performances, although the goal of the double, after the victory of Cecilie Uttrup Ludwig in 2022, was not reached this year. The Danish confirmed her form by placing third in the first and third stages and winning the second stage, which allows her to finish in second place in the general classification, just behind Annemiek Van Vleuten.

Uttrup Ludwig was particularly active in the last stage between Middelfart and Haderslev, covering 143.9 km. She managed a remarkable final, snatching another stage victory but narrowly missing the leader’s jersey, just two seconds behind Van Vleuten.

Teammate Grace Brown also shone, including winning the individual 16.5km time trial around Herning on Saturday, August 26. This performance comes shortly after his silver medal at the world championships in the same discipline.

In total, the FDJ-SUEZ team leaves the Tour of Scandinavia with a very positive record: three stage wins and two runners in the top 5 of the general classification, Uttrup Ludwig finishing second and Brown fifth!
