Stage 5 : Bastogne – Amnéville (150 km)
The fifth stage of the Tour de France Femmes 2024, from Bastogne to Amnéville, highlighted the audacity of our Dutch rider Loes Adegeest and the team’s fighting spirit. From the very first kilometres, Loes took the initiative with several attacks, finally breaking away with 80 kilometres to go. Her audacity enabled her to open up a significant gap before two other riders joined her.
Loes held her ground in the leading trio, fending off the onslaught of the peloton until just 2 kilometres from the finish. Despite the return of the chasing pack, her courage was rewarded with the fighting spirit award.

Slowed by a crash in the final kilometres, Evita MUZIC finished 10th on the stage. Cecilie UTTRUP-LUDWIG also showed that she had recovered from her crash and finished in the same group.

Stage 6 : Remiremont – Morteau (160 km)
Tomorrow, the tension will be ratcheted up a notch in the Tour de France for Women with a fearsome stage through the Vosges mountains, promising more than 2,200 metres of climbing. This demanding route will put the riders to the test, with two major climbs in particular being the judges of the day.
First and foremost, , la montée de la Roche du Prêtre (5,5 km à 5,6%) offrira un défi considérable, particulièrement avec son dernier kilomètre culminant à une pente impressionnante de 12%. Puis, les cyclistes devront affronter la Côte des Fins (1.8 km at 6.9%), a short but intense obstacle that could shake up the rankings.

Ancienne pensionnaire du VC Morteau Montbenoit, elle sera sur des routes familières et aura à cœur de livrer une performance à la hauteur des attentes de ses supporters locaux. Ce sera l’occasion idéale pour elle de briller, sur un terrain qui lui est cher.
