FDJ-SUEZ is delighted to announce the signing of Juliette Labous, who will join the team until 2027.
Juliette, 25, born on 4 November 1998 in Roche-lez-Beaupré/Besançon (Franche-Comté), is a professional cyclist renowned worldwide for her performances and consistency in both time trials and road races. With her experience and track record, Juliette will be a major asset for FDJ-SUEZ in the coming years.
From French hopeful to member of the very select circle of the world’s best cyclists
Juliette Labous began her career in BMX before turning to cyclo-cross and road racing, disciplines in which she quickly made her mark.
French junior time trial champion from 2015, and double French junior road and time trial champion the following year, Juliette Labous has succeeded in fulfilling the hopes placed in her by brilliantly breaking through to the elite level. A stage winner at the age of 19 in the opening time trial of the 2018 Giro d’Italia, the best young rider in the Giro d’Italia and the Tour of California in 2019, Juliette won the title of elite French time trial champion in 2020, at the age of 21.
The 2024 French road champion, Juliette Labous has established herself year after year in the closed circle of the world’s best cyclists, winning the overall classification at the 2022 Tour of Burgos and a stage victory at the 2022 Giro. Praised for her consistency, Juliette has finished in the top 5 of all three major tours : 4ème of the Tour de France Women with Zwift 2022, 2ème du Giro d’Italia Donne 2023, 4ème of the Vuelta España Femenina by Carrefour.es 2024.
At 25, Juliette Labous has won 5 professional races and taken part in 14 Grand Tours since 2018.

The two athletes have a long-standing friendship, dating back to the Pôle Espoir Cyclisme in Besançon, first in the national team and then at club level in the youth categories.
