Ally crowned New Zealand road cycling champion

Ally Wollaston won the New Zealand Road Cycling Championship title in Rotoorangi on Friday 6 February. Having already won three times in Australia last month, she confirmed her excellent start to the season by claiming the national jersey.

At the end of the 122-kilometre race, Ally Wollaston won solo, three seconds ahead of her closest rivals. She finished ahead of Mikayla Harvey (Team SD Worx – Protime) and Kate McCarthy, who completed the podium.

Thanks to this success, she will wear the New Zealand champion’s jersey on the WorldTour circuit in 2026.
