A partnership made to last: FDJ-SUEZ and SHIMANO

Shimano is strengthening its support for women’s cycling, combining elite performance and rider-focused innovation to inspire the next generation.

In a sport where teams and sponsors evolve as rapidly as the race courses, SHIMANO has announced the extension of its partnership with the UCI Women’s WorldTour team, FDJ-SUEZ.

Shimano has been a loyal supporter of the team and will continue to be its official technical partner for the 2025 and 2026 seasons, with a commitment from both parties to extend their collaboration for a further two years.

Shimano will supply FDJ-SUEZ with its latest products and technologies, including the wireless power unit DURA-ACE Di2, which will support the team’s ambitious racing schedule. With some of the most advanced gear shifting and braking performance, FDJ-SUEZ will benefit from unrivalled precision and reliability, giving the team an essential competitive edge to take on the biggest races.

Stephen Delcourt, Chief Executive Officer of FDJ-SUEZ, said:

‘At a time when the team has undergone significant changes in terms of sponsorship, it was crucial for us to preserve this exceptional partnership with Shimano. Not only does this brand represent technical excellence, it is also a long-term partner with whom we have built strong links over the years. Extending this partnership was a priority, as it reflects our shared values and our commitment to performance and innovation.’

Yuzo Shimano, Senior Executive Officer, Vice President of Bicycle Marketing and Planning at Shimano, added:

‘The extraordinary growth of the UCI Women’s WorldTour has shown us what is possible in such a short space of time. What we see today – brilliant tactical strategy, fierce competition and a growing global audience – represents a new era for cycling.

It’s clear that women’s cycling isn’t just growing – it’s changing. Shimano wants to inspire the next generation of women cyclists to dream even bigger, and our partnership with FDJ-SUEZ reflects our commitment to the sport.
