Cycling is a difficult sport, for which “day without” is never welcome. Unfortunately, the leaders of the FDJ-SUEZ team experienced this fateful day on the Dean. Present on the race with a very good squad, and ambitions displayed, the red and blue hoped better to conclude the Ardennes.
After the 142.8 kilometers of the race, it is once again Demi VOLLERING who wins. The Dutch creates the Ardennes triptych.
A day off for the team. Unfortunately, we were not physically present.
At the first key passage of the race, at kilometer 65, we lose two girls and we are not represented in the breakaway. Very quickly, we found that our leaders were not well. It was difficult to try to weigh on the race. Finally, we did with the means at hand.
A day to forget, which closes this campaign of Ardennes classics. If we compare our results with those of last year, there is disappointment.
