Léa Curinier has extended her contract until 2028

The team is delighted to announce that Léa Curinier’s contract has been extended for a further two seasons, until 2028.

Having joined the squad in 2024, Léa has established herself as a key figure within the team. This decision confirms her central role in the team’s sporting project and reflects complete confidence in her for the coming seasons.

A key role and a growing list of achievements

A true road captain, Léa Curinier brings great versatility to the team, proving just as comfortable in classics and mountainous terrain as she is in time trials.

Beyond her role as part of a team protecting the leaders, she has taken her career to the next level by proving herself capable of performing at the very highest international level in her own right. Her list of achievements includes a runners-up spot in the French Road Championships, 19th place in the overall classification of the 2024 Tour de France Femmes, 13th place in the Amstel Gold Race, 4th place in Durango-Durango, and a podium finish (3rd) in the Grand Prix Féminin de Chambéry.

Léa has been part of the team since 2024 and means a great deal to us. Always putting the team first, she has quickly become a key member of our team, both on and off the bike.

I’m thinking in particular of her performance at this season’s Strade Bianche, where she made her mark on the race by setting an impressive pace through the cobbled sections, putting our rivals under pressure and allowing the team to perform to the full. That sort of work doesn’t always show up in the results, but it’s what builds the greatest victories.

Beyond her role as an athlete, Léa is also a key figure in our day-to-day management. She is a calm, intelligent and inspiring woman with whom we share many human and sporting values.

We are proud to continue building the future together. – Stephen Delcourt, General manager of the FDJ UNITED-SUEZ team

I’m delighted to be staying with the team. For me, the decision was a no-brainer; I feel completely fulfilled as part of the team. It’s a privilege to be able to develop in such a positive environment, with staff and teammates who push me every day to give my very best. Year after year, the team is making progress and continuing to move forward with ambition; I am proud to be able to contribute to this and very grateful for the trust placed in me. – Léa Curinier

With this extension until 2028, the team is reaffirming its commitment to a long-term sporting project.
